Chippens Hill Veterinary Hospital

I brought my Chihuahua to Chippens hill Vet for the first time this week to take care of overgrown nails. After being turned away over and over again due to my dog’s anxiety and trying to bite other vets we finally found this clinic that gave my dog a chance. They did amazing with her and did what they could to get the job done! All the staff there were super nice and compassionate. I highly recommend them and we will use them for our vet needs from here on out. My Lucy is now home and feeling so much better ❤️

If you are looking for a kind compassionate and considerate veterinarian this is the place to go. I'm new to Connecticut and I brought my 20-year-old very temperamental small dog to the vet. The only veterinarian I could find in the area that helps with vaccinations for international travel. I had to postpone my first appointment and they were very kind and considerate about my dilemma. Upon arriving early I was greeted by the receptionist immediately I walked into a very clean very kind and very considerate veterinarian hospital. The vet and her technicians were wonderful absolutely wonderful with my dog. I recommend that you go to them for any reason with your pet. Dr. Frederico was kind, patient and informative when explaining my cat's diagnosis and next steps. Options regarding tests were clearly explained and costs were very transparent and provided up front. I appreciated that there was absolutely no judgment or pressure as to whether or not I should have further tests done. I highly recommend Chippens Hill Veterinarian services and trust that my cat will get the best care there. Front desk staff are wonderful there as well.

I had an emergency over the weekend. After several hours of seeking help and waiting for someone to respond. Chippens Hill was the only place that responded . They couldn’t see us because they were short handed but they kept calling back and gave advice to help. Outstanding professionalism with compassion. My new vet for my best friend!
