I have been coming here many time for the last 8 year due to my daughter's skin condition and hip problem. Sometimes the wait is long, sometimes it isnt bad at all. The staff is friendly and caring. They often give kids toys or stickers to cheer them up. The facility is nice and clean and pretty new. Very convenient so we dont have to make the drive across the river.

My experience this last visit with my son was not a good one. He was scheduled for surgery a month or so away, they wait till the week before to decide that he is a risk and that they will not do the surgery. I understand and appreciate that they are looking out for the wellbeing of my son, but there was no need to wait this long. Now we have to start this process allover again in norfolk. He has already been a month, and is very uncomfertable. The drive to norfolk is also a big inconvience for my family as we live an hour away, and this will take multiple trips to accomplish. We had been taking him to the ENT at CHKD in newport news, at which he has failed to diagnose or try to do anything to help my son with his issues other than to say he failed his hearing test. Thus place is horrible !!!! Each time that I go there the wait to be seen for a regular appointment is 2 hours!! They do not schedule correctly ! I switched my kids Doctor Bc I thought it was only her that was slow, but the same thing happened with the other doctor!!
