Children's Nebraska Specialty Pediatric Clinic – Cass West

The Endocrinology dept. at Children’s was excellent. By far the most positive experience we have had with any of the departments and/or Specialists at the Children’s Omaha location. The entire team was wonderful from arrival to departure. Dr. Johnson was compassionate and made us feel like our daughter wasn’t just another case. She openly listened to my thoughts, concerns, and feedback. She also made sure to include our 9 yr old daughter in all of the conversations and asked her numerous questions to really get to know how she was feeling. Thank you Dr. Johnson!

Extremely Disappointed My daughter was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis at 9 years old and is now 15. Over the years, I voiced concerns at nearly every appointment about possible vitamin deficiencies or other autoimmune conditions, but was always told that no additional testing was necessary unless she became “sicker.” Neither my daughter nor I ever felt that our concerns or her symptoms were truly heard. She struggled with multiple symptoms and we were told they were not related to her thyroid — and that she should “see a therapist.” The shocking part? Those exact symptoms are listed on their own office symptom checker that patients fill out before appointments! I finally convinced one doctor to check her vitamin D levels, and she was severely deficient. That alone should have sh

Appointments consistently run 30-45 minutes behind. Different receptionists and nurses every time I have taken my daughter.

Everything went well, from checking in at the front to gettting ready to be seen! The employees were all very nice & professional! Christine was awesome! She listened & emphasized with us! She was also very encouraging & gave us great insights & advice. The dietitian was also just as awesome! It's great to know we are being cared for by a team of caring, compassionate & empathetic professionals! Thank you all kindly!!

We traveled to this location and it was definitely worth the trip, clean and welcoming environment. The nurses were very friendly and accommodating. Physician was super attentive to our concerns, explained the diagnosis thoroughly and clearly. I really appreciated our service and I am so relieved to have made the trip to this location.
