Children’s Memorial Hermann Pediatrics West University

Came to this facility for a follow up visit with an endocrinologist. The reception area was clean and comfortable. The ladies at the reception were friendly, kind, professional and efficient. Nurse Jazmine was professional and kind. Most of all I liked her calm and soothing voice. Dr. Nicklas was very attentative, asked many questions, but did not rush you and also answered my questions in a manner that helped me to understand my thyroid issue. I know that I am in good hands with this team! 5-star rating for me!

Dr Javier is the absolute best pediatrician. She listens, connects with the kids and really works with parents to help and solve problems. I have a kiddo with ADHD and she has been amazing at communicating and working with the school to provide what they needed to provide accommodations etc. my kids love going and seeing her!

Quality has definitely gone down in the past few years. Business hours say 7 AM, but they don’t answer the phone until 8 AM. Call to make an appointment the person on the phone is huffing and puffing in my ear. Can’t make an online appointment because it shows no availability yet when you call there are appointments available. Maybe if they updated their systems and times we wouldn’t have to interrupt the desk workers. 🫠

Jennifer one of the receptionist here did the most sweetest gesture today. She came out from behind the desk to consult me and give me tissues when she saw me crying because I could hear my son screaming and crying from getting blood drawn. That is the kindest thing anyone has ever done. All the receptionists here have always been very helpful and always kind but I just wanted to express my gratitude to Jennifer for doing that. Thank you!

Billed my daughter for a strep and flu test when she only received a strep test. I specifically asked for NO flu test because we had already had the flu. I called them after I received a bill for both tests immediately after. Two years later, they sent us to collections under the wrong name and the collections will not even talk to me since the wrong name is no one in my family's name. So we cannot even pay the incorrect bill. My 4 kids were at this practice for 13 years and we are gone!!!
