Children's Hospital of Michigan Troy Emergency Room

My son needed an ultrasound and labs when we came into the ER in the middle of the night. Apparently there is no overnight ultrasound or labs at this “emergency room” which is absolutely crazy. I had to leave and drive him to the ER at Corewell Royal Oak for actual proper care. Do not go here.

This is NOT a standard emergency room! Your child will NOT be admitted! They do NOT want to help! I am so mad so so mad I just drove to Children's Hospital Troy emergency room to have the lady smile at me like she's laughing at me with her eyes saying they don't admit children here what is the point of a children's hospital emergency room if you don't admit children! I said are you joking? She's like "I'm not" in a sing song voice. What a JOKE

Amazing service and exactly how emergency room service should be. Less than 5 minutes check-in/wait and my son was in an exam room. Vitals taken immediately and doctor was in room within 10 minutes. Very courteous and respectful doctors, nurses, technicians and staff. This place is a blessing 🙌!!

It was a wonderful experience until we were sent home and told that we could see a specialist this week at their main location so we could avoid admission. Well, when I called the specialist, nothing is open for 2 months. I should have had him admitted maybe then he would have been taken care of.

You deserve better care than me his place. Try to avoid this.
