Children's Health PM Pediatric Urgent Care McKinney

I recently brought my son to Children’s Urgent Care for a minor laceration he sustained at school. Unfortunately, our experience at the front desk was disappointing. Upon arrival, April did not properly greet our family and immediately directed me to scan a barcode. When I mentioned we had our insurance card, she rudely stated they don’t take cards and that everything must be entered online. However, when I didn’t scan my driver’s license, she was able to scan it in the office — which suggests the same could have been done with our insurance card. I stepped aside to complete the online check-in, and when my son’s father joined us in the lobby, he was not acknowledged or welcomed either. Dr. Dhanalakshmi Kesavan and her staff were absolutely amazing. We waited maybe 5–10 minutes in the lobby before being seen. As soon as they saw my daughter, the doctor immediately noticed that I was also sick. Even though I originally came in just for my daughter, she was very concerned and had me admitted right away to make sure I was taken care of too—not just my child. They immediately helped with my nausea, and the nurses were incredible. They absolutely loved my daughter—you could hear them bragging about her in the room, and that alone made me feel a hundred times better during a stressful moment. I didn’t have much experience of Urgent care for my child. But this time my daughter has sickness so i try this PM . I see google reviews and it has a lot positive feedback so i trust it visit. It was exactly like other people saying . All staff was very kind efficient. They know exactly know what need for my daughter. After visiting i offered medicine to my daughter. She seems get better quickly than i thought. I truly appreciate all your hard work.

We took our 10 month old in due to fever. The staff was friendly and they got us back quickly. The wait time to see the provider was a little longer than expected, but she was so nice and took great care of our little one! We will definitely come back to this location if needed in the future.

We had such a great experience at PM urgent care! We had to take our very sick baby this past week and we were met with a caring, professional, and knowledgeable team. It was easy to make a last minute appointment and we got right in, even on a Saturday evening. They quickly got us to a room and we saw the provider, Dr. K, within minutes. She helped diagnose the issue and helped talk us through the right treatment plan. I really appreciated how well she explained everything! We ended up having to come back every 24 hours for three days for antibiotic injections. Each night we came back, we had a great experience and always felt like we were in good hands. It was a scary time but we are so thankful for our baby’s full recovery thanks to the amazing team at PM urgent care!
