Children's Dental Health of York

Would never recommend! Last time I was there we waited 2 hours to be seen! They claimed all my children had multiple cavities, and needed cleanings every 3 months and I’d have to pay over $1000 out of pocket since insurance only covers them every 6 months! We got second opinions and 2 children had NO cavities, 1 child only had 2 when they claimed she had more and another only had 1 and they said she had multiple. I also called to have my children’s records sent to new dentist 4 months ago while I was at the new dentists office. They refused and told me I’d have to go in the office and it would take 60 days to transfer the records. New dentist took new X-rays that day so we didn’t need the records. I told them my children would not be going there anymore and to cancel my appointments. Just

We will be switching to a different dental office after multiple frustrating experiences. This practice felt extremely high-volume, and we did not experience the level of communication or patient-centered care we expect for our child. Parents are not permitted to be present during appointments, and after a brief exam, treatment recommendations and consent forms (including for laughing gas) were presented quickly, with limited opportunity for meaningful discussion or questions. Appointments were rescheduled or canceled more than once due to staffing issues, and it was often difficult to reach the office or receive return calls, which made an already challenging scheduling process even more stressful. After calling many places, I was so relieved to find a dental office experienced in working with kids on the spectrum. They even have a “quiet room,” which made the visit so much easier. The staff was incredibly attentive and patient, and I truly appreciate the care they provided. I’m so happy I found this place and highly recommend them!

The dental hygienist she was so sweet. The lady who did the x rays was so nice to us and the dentist wow she was so friendly and smiling and very happy to assist my daughter in her treatment. 1st time here and we loved this location. Thank you

After this office cancelled and rescheduled my daughter’s appointment 2 times it was finally the day of the appointment. I left work early and picked my daughter up from school. Rushed to this office to make it on time only to be met by locked doors and a sign on the door stating office is closed. No phone call. No email. No text message. It is beyond frustrating dealing with this office. Appointments are so hard to get you have to wait months to be seen then you get a message saying they cancel “due to staffing” if you’re lucky. Or you show up to locked doors with no notice at all. It is not good business to treat your customers like that.
