Children's Dental Assoc. of NLC, PC

I have been bringing my children to Children’s Dental for years — first at the NL office and now, since they built the East Lyme location. They have been absolutely amazing! One of the things I appreciate is how accommodating they are with scheduling. They arrange my children’s appointments at the same time, each with different hygienists, so all three cleanings are done within an hour. As a parent, that level of efficiency is incredible! Dr. Ureles has been so compassionate and understanding, especially when it comes to my kids’ gag reflexes. The entire team is patient, kind, and full of helpful tips and tricks to successfully complete x-rays, and any needed procedures, without any stress. Overall, I truly couldn’t have asked for a better dental office for my children. We are so grateful

My son had his first filling with Dr. Amy. She and Katie I believe was the assistant’s name did an awesome job! My son was very nervous and they did an amazing job keeping him calm and comfortable. We’ve been coming here since my son was 2 and have had nothing but great experiences.

Amazing staff and beautiful facility. They are very accommodating and polite. I'm very happy with them and my 5 year old loves going to the dentist because they make it so comfortable for him. We've been going there since my since first appointment ever and we wouldn't change it unless insurance issues come up.

My toddlers had their first appointment today and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish! Paula explained everything before the appointment started, and really helped put both kids at ease. Dr. Chen was wonderful with both as well! His presence was very calming which is important when you have two scared little ones! Very happy we came here and look forward to our future appointments now!

Dr. Ureles is empathetic and thoughtful about his care for my non-verbal, autistic child, as well as his siblings. Today, he fit my son into his schedule for a question I asked during my other child’s visit, so that we didn’t have to come back. He takes the time to explain everything he is doing directly to my son, and encourages him without making him feel “babied”. He has made sure to see my son regularly over the last several years to increase his comfort at the office, and the progress he has made is incredible. Dr. U also considers the whole child and the complete picture of his health, and just today noticed a change in his teeth that could point to a medical issue that can be addressed and potentially give our son some relief.
