Chiefland Animal Hospital

We are super happy to have Chiefland Animal Hospital care for our beloved cat, Harpurr. Dr Susan Watson and vet tech are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Harpurr was totally at ease under their care. The friendly office crew got us in and checked out quickly. It will be a pleasure to bring any of our future pets here.

So I was looking for a vet that was as awesome as the one I used to go to in Okeechobee and I tried one here and I wasn't impressed. I took a chance on this one and I found the perfect one for my babies. I know people like to brag that their vet is the best one but let me just tell you I"m extremely picky to the point where my vet in Okeechobee told me more than 10 times I did not have to bring my animals in LOL I"m extremely, extremely, extremely, picky who my babies go to and I"m so happy here. This vet gave my baby Buttercup the care that she needed when she was sick. I think my dog sprained her ankle today cuz she can't walk on it so I'm going to show up tomorrow morning and I have no doubt in my mind that they will give Buttons the care that she needs. I can't help but give any of our pet saving veterinarians a good review , they go out of their way to do the absolute best they can for our fur babies and I don't know if anyone else has noticed it but , there's just something about the residents of Chiefland . It's a different community here compared to any other that I've lived before and believe me , I've lived in some FINE communities in my life . The folks in Chiefland seem to live with a happiness and contentment that you don't get anywhere else ...I shop in Chiefland , I eat in Chiefland , and my veterinarian is in Chiefland . Each time I bring Sonny to this office I walk away so happy. The vets, techs and the front staff are great. I do have a couple of things I’d like to bring up however. The wait time is always pretty long. My dog quivers his entire visit . I could take him outside but I figure they might call us in. I did call once inquiring about possible dog sitter suggestions and asked them to check their pin board. Lady said there were none. But I had seem them before and was just there yesterday and jotted down the sitter information. Had I been given the information I wouldn’t of had to bring dads dog to Gainsville for sitting last week. Only other thing is tech went to trim his nails and the first one got the quick. The staff is always professional, friendly, and helpful. They try to accommodate our needs when contacted with short notice assistance. Thank you for being there for us.
