CHI Health Clinic Priority Care (Kearney)

uhhh we showed up needing help at 7:30 pm on the dot. came from out of town because online it says they close at 8, and called to confirm the hours. we get there and walk up, all lights are on and the automatic doors didn't open. we sat there for a second figuring out what was going on, hoping they weren't closed, as we needed urgent help (hence why we came to urgent care). while we were pondering what to do, at 7:34 the lights were turned off while we were waiting for help. unbelievable service and no signage posted for explanation.

I have to question the competency of this clinic. A close friend of mine went here about 10 days ago because he had been vomiting for four days, and eventually passed out. They told him all his vitals were fine and told blood tests and told him they didn’t see any problem. Yesterday same kind of symptoms happened again. This time he went to Kearny Region Hospital - their diagnoses was sepsis in one kidney two cysts on the other kidney stones in both kidneys. He was admitted to have antibiotics administered and to monitor the sepsis infection. He may need surgery to remove the kidney stones. Urgent Care is NOT the best care.

Driving from Salt Lake City to Upstate New York, Sunday March 30. I began to experience a throbbing headache, radiating down the right side of my face, and my ear began to ache a lot. We decided to stay over night in Kearney, Nebraska. While there, I visited the CHI Health Clinic Urgent Facility. The time was approximately 7:35PM. The facility closes at 8PM. I was anticipating that the staff members would be eager to end their day and, consequently, would be “Moving me along”. I couldn’t have been more mistaken! The 3 ladies who I interacted with on this visit were very welcoming, competent, thorough, and made me fell like they, genuinely, cared about doing their job to the best of their ability. Brought my son in on Sunday as we live out of town and he woke up with a severe sore throat! Let the RN working that day comforted him so well! She was professional and kind and made Lane feel safe and cared for! Thanks Le for being so kind, friendly, and nurturing to my son!

This is my favorite clinic in Kearney, or even Nebraska hands down. The staff over our multiple visits has always been super friendly and helpful. As a young father they have always made me super comfortable and make the process ass stress free as possible. Thank you to everyone here!
