CHI Health Clinic Direct Primary Care (Kearney)

I had made an appointment last year to get help for depression, I was seen by a younger "Doctor" by the name of Rebecca.. She profiled me for wanting a diet fix something to make me lose weight. I'm just over 5'5 and around 130lbs with good muscle mass so why she wanted to assume that is ridiculous. I saw her 3 months before I gave up. She would snicker tell me I needed to come back in a month to get weighed again. She said she wasn't confident enough in her abilities as a doctor to prescribe something for ADHD and depression at the same time.. If you really have depression like I do don't go to her.

Tonight I went to Priority Care & asked to be seen for an incision I suspect is infected. I arrived right at 7:30 p.m., 30 minutes before closing. I explained I had surgery a couple hours from here & the first thing the lady asked me was did I call my surgeon. I had not, only because the day after I got home from the surgery I was taken via ambulance to the hospital for other minor complications. While at the ER for the other issue, the physician did say to watch my white blood cell count as it was elevated. So I was hoping tonight to just have someone look at it and maybe draw blood. However, after this explanation I was turned away because “the doctors there don’t really take on patients who have seen surgeons, because they’re picky.” Which is REALLY ironic considering my Surgeon requi

Very distasteful. The staff and providers have been nothing but less than helpful and rude. Then when I tried to express my concerns further they “discharged” me?? How if I wasn’t verbally or physically abusive. Lawsuit. Don’t give this dying clinic a chance. why all the good providers left. Too bad I’m in healthcare as well and know the right contacts.

The care in the hospital was excellent over all. I would like to make notice of the breast feeding consultant using nipple Sheilds prematurely. We only had are new born for less than an hour before it was introduced. We believe this made the child somewhat use to the nipple shield or dependent. Also an in house billing department of some type would be awesome. Although very nice the people on the phone for the billing department had broken English and that experience was stressful overall.

Dr. Terry Becker is the best doctor! He has been so kind and friendly to myself and my whole family. He does everything he can to make sure we leave the office with all our questions answered. I would highly recommend Dr. Becker to be your family doctor! I also want to praise Mary who is on the front line/answers phones. She goes out of her way to do everything in her power to help you. Every time I call and hear it's her on the other line, I KNOW the call will end on a happy note.
