Cheshire House

Very disturbing I Came to visit my grandmother at the facility and as I was grabbing the handle bar a cock roach was on it extremely disgusting! The facility smells of urine and feces, it’s extremely hot the state needs to be called and the city. Some of the staff extremely rude I had asked to speak to the dns and asked for her name which they stated heather which is new according to staff she brushed off my concerns and told my grandmother that it’s not a cock roach it’s a water bug ?!!! what is the difference the place is invested. My grandma called me upset and said she was very rude. I don’t recall Cheshire house being like that at all hopefully it gets shut down by the state which I will be calling and the city for making the workers work in such working conditions like that and I wil

This place is so beautiful. I travel about 15 mins from my home to come across town to get my coffee from them. By Costco In Waterbury. This Cheshire House. The atmosphere and the welcoming of the staff with smiles and professionalism is what brings me here. The food from the muffins to pastries and the homemade sandwiches are beyond amazing. Thank you so much for this little gem of charm and hospitality. God bless.

Booked a room based on booking.com rating DO NOT TRUST THE RATINGS. Went in room and it was dirty sheets yellow the bathroom had puke in the bathtub on walls dirty and very noisy due to traffic. Run down not kept up Didn’t have time to take photos but saw two rooms both unacceptable. Left immediately called booking. Com and requested a full refund.

The staff, including Supervisor Kathy & Nurse Sasha, are very kind, compassionate, attentive & caring...exactly the qualities we were hoping for when a loved one went into their care at the Cheshire House recently. Believe me, it's much appreciated and helps alleviate a lot of the stress. Thank you!
