Never in my years of life have I encountered a medical office both in business or personal that refuses to take patients back because "they left the practice". We brought our son here since he was born and actually really liked the office and practice but unfortunately due to insurance changes we had to switch. I was happy to realize our new insurance would give him access to this pediatrician again and low and behold...they won't take him back because he left even though it wasn't in our control. That's poor business and just a horrible policy. Shame on you.

Everything you’d want from a pediatrician’s office! We’ve been with Dr. Coyner for over a decade, and I’m so grateful we found this practice. Melissa at the front desk is so friendly & helpful, the nurses are fabulous, and Dr. Coyner is so knowledgeable, kind, and patient. Always able to get an appointment at this family-like office!

Under no circumstance are you allowed to move, switch providers due to insurance, or go to another practice. They will NOT allow you to return after being anywhere else. Detestable business ethics, especially within the medical community.

We had the worst possible experience at this pediatric office. Starting from our very first visit after birth, the nurse (or assistant) who was supposed to measure our newborn’s weight and height told us not to remove the diaper. This is completely unprofessional and wrong – children up to 5 years old should be weighed without clothes or diapers. It was very clear that she simply didn’t want to deal with the inconvenience in case the baby peed, which is pure laziness. As for the doctor, this was the most incompetent pediatrician we have ever met. Not once did the doctor answer our questions clearly. For example, every pediatrician recommends Vitamin D for newborns – but this doctor never even mentioned it. We only found out about this essential supplement when we switched to another pedia

I brought my six month old daughter to Chesapeake Pediatrics yesterday to get her ears pierced and could not be happier with the attention we received. The nurse was incredibly friendly and you can tell she is very experienced in ear piercing. She took the time to explain the process and answer any questions. The piercing gun was sanitary and one-time use, and the process took less than two minutes. Thank you, Chesapeake Pediatrics, for making this a great process. Highly recommend for ear piercings.
