Chelsea Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center

This place is a complete joke. My father-in-law stayed here for about three weeks a few years ago, and the experience was terrible. The nurses barely did their jobs, and management was no better. The entire time he was there, the atmosphere felt unprofessional, full of gossip and drama. I personally heard multiple reports of staff members having inappropriate relationships with subcontractors who were working on remodeling the building. Management was aware of the situation and did nothing. One evening, I even witnessed a husband confront one of the workers, and the police had to be called. From what I understood, that wasn’t the first time something like that had happened. There were also rumors about a nurse stealing medication, and again, nothing seemed to be addressed. I like Chelsea. Everyone has always been friendly to me when I visit my uncle. The nurses deserve all the recognition KeKe, Carol, the aides Tyre, Kash Marta, and Addison just to name a few. If you need a laugh see Mable at the front desk. When I have a question I get pointed in the right direction and helped. The ladies at the front are nice and welcoming.

I have to say that it surprised me when I walked in to the building with the changes! Only visited a patient… so wasn’t there long enough to make a huge evaluation… but definitely like what I saw… it doesn’t have “the smell “.. and seemed very clean! The staff seemed much more helpful.

Chelsea has the most attentive staff. They were so good at meeting my mom’s needs when she asked for help

I loved the warm greeting the minute I walked in the building, then to hear family members say this is the best facility they have been to made me feel right at home.
