Charlevoix Hospital - Emergency Room

My husband needed someone to pack an incision he had done the previous day at a different hospital. The employees in Charlevoix are the KINDEST professionals you will ever meet. From the registration to the NP that did the packing, they were so caring and quick. Would highly recommend this hospital! No nonsense visit, in & out quickly.

Charlevoix’s ER is one of the best in the area!! They got me in very fast & my nurse Kara was amazing!! Kara and my doctor Jacob made what would usually be an uncomfortable service, very comfortable. I appreciate the professionalism & genuine care everyone in the hospital showed. I would recommend Charlevoixs Er over others in the area. I’ve lived in northern Michigan for 23 years & they gave me hands down the best care! God bless all of you❤️

What an incredible experience. Came up to Charlevoix for the 4th holiday weekend and unfortunately my oldest sliced his hand on a rock in the lake this morning and it definitely needed stitches (his first stitches, mind you). 4 hours north of where we live I decided to visit this ER. Not only were we in and out in literally less than 20 minutes, but all 4 medical professionals we encountered were so kind. Front desk was prompt and kind, we weren’t even able to sit in the waiting area before we were called back and triaged. Walking into the room another nurse saw my son was anxious and brought him a Lego set. Then Dr W came in and was patient and kind and quick. If tragedy strikes on vacation, I can’t recommend this hospital enough!

I, unfortunately, had to have services at this facility while I was visiting from out of town. I don't know if I can think of enough words to describe my experience. Efficient, caring, quick, understanding, helpful, considerate, did I say quick? From the admitting clerk, to Marie, Karla, transport person, CT scan fellow and the doctor....EVERYONE was so pleasant, helpful, happy to do whatever was necessary to get their job done. Best of all, they made me feel well enough to continue my journey home. Thanks again Charlevoix hospital team.

Great experience! Except for the check in lady, every one was amazing. My nurse Theresa was an angel from heaven. The CEO was walk-in around giving people snacks while they waited. The doctor and the staff was knowledgeable and compassionate. Overall great ER experience.
