I scheduled an appointment for my annual physical and to switch my primary care provider since mine retired. I made the appointment back in September and had to wait until December to be seen. The office sent an automated call to confirm the appointment, but that was several days ago. Today, the day of the appointment, I left my house at 11:15 and tried to find the location using Google, but GPS directed me to the Forest Avenue office down the street. Because of that, I arrived late. The staff called Dr. Charlene to let her know I had arrived, and she said I would need to reschedule. No one in the office showed any understanding of the situation. I was then told her next available appointment wasn’t until 2027, which is ridiculous. They rescheduled me with the nurse practitioner instead,

New to VA, searched for an in network doctor. I was impressed by what I read online. I was somewhat satisfied, until my recent visit on April 11,2025, my annual exam, while discussing my chart,I asked her, what were the results of my pet scan. To my surprise and dismay, her response was " I don't know I wasn't there". To with I said, I know you weren't you DO has the results don't you? I felt disrespected. I thought that comment was rude and unprofessional. I called, spoke with her nurse,told her what happened and how I felt. I thought I would get an apology or some sort of acknowledgement on this issue. I got nothing.

Dr Ng is a very professional patience, listen very well to your concerns, she is highly recommended as an excellent pcp. She believes in being healthy, doing the work to stay healthy, reverses your first options of medications, she make you want to do the work to stay healthy.

Dr NG is a great doctor!
