If you are considering Chamberlain University – Houston campus, please research other nursing programs very carefully before committing. This is one of the most expensive nursing programs in the area, yet the organization and overall quality do not reflect the tuition cost. Tuition has increased multiple times throughout the program, which is incredibly frustrating considering the ongoing issues students face. Communication is one of the biggest problems. The disconnect between admissions and the actual campus/program is significant. During enrollment, students in the evening/weekend track are told clinicals will be scheduled on weekends or overnight. It was going good until it wasn’t. What I will say is that there are some professors that give you tools to help you, and others you can tell are just there for a check. Be mindful of those that no longer practice and haven’t been licensed long, 🚩 🚩🚩🚩 Tuition is very high and what makes matter worse is that they give you unnecessary courses to get more money out of you. 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️ don’t walk away!

I wouldn't recommend the program. Nursing classes are held online when they were said to be in person. Only one teacher actually knows how to teach Prof Edward Davis and my health and wellness professor Prof Cox. They've increased the prices over 3 times in less than a year! And they keep changing up the program and I heard this within my first semester but I didn't believe the seniors. But they were right!

Where to begin… to sum it up this isn’t the place to go for schooling it’s not only incredibly expensive but academically this place is a headache and a nightmare. It seems to be way more stressful than other programs and the teachers…. Ive never came across such condescending and egotistical teachers in all of my schooling. I truly do not feel anyone from advising and to anyone in administration is there for your success as a nursing student. The lack of empathy is astounding and disappointing as that’s what nursing is about. The grading scale is weird… every negative review is completely true. For your sanity and wallet attend another school.

The professors are very helpful and engaging. Im glad I chose chamberlain
