I informed Dr. Chad Patton that I have been having thoracic pain that radiates to my right rhomboid muscle for 2 years, I have done all of the conservative treatments, none of the pain medications for muscle or inflammation helps with my pain. I have had two epidural injections from pain management which didn’t give me any relief. I informed him that Gabapentin and wearing a back brace helps relieve some of the pain. In the past three years, Dr. Patton has operated on my back twice for different issues. I had back surgery a month ago and Dr. Patton was my surgeon. From my first visit to my recent post-surgery follow up, Dr. Patton was thorough, answered my numerous questions and the surgery went better than I ever expected. I went to see Dr. Patton and his team after experiencing excruciating back pain for over a year. I was evaluated and advised to try steroid injections, which I did, but that did not end up working for me. After an evaluation with Dr. Patton, we decided it would be best to have a lumbar fusion.
