Chacko Allergy, Asthma and Sinus Center of Duluth

I’ve been to see Dr. Chacko and his team for many years and they’re wonderful and attentive. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Kasey Lanier and she was awesome! Keep up the great work and thank you for all you do for us.

My experience was very disappointing at the duluth location. The moment I arrived the facility seemed unclean. I had to check different seats before sitting. During the visit, they went straight in trying to give me a PFT and allergy test. Even though, I explicitly stated I was there for MCAS evaluation. They proceeded to say I need an allergy test first or I could not get evaluated. I stated I did not need any of those test. I have already had multiple allergy test done and non of the peer-reviewed articles stated an allergy test needs to be done before a diagnosis for MCAS. After, she stated none of the allergist/immunologist diagnose for MCAS. It was a weird experience. I would never go to any of his facilities.

Recommend Dr. Lanier. Went to see her for two of my kids last year for testing and very responsive and concerned with their allergies. My youngest was 1 and had a crap load of food allergies. Forward to today I go back for yearly testing on the now 2 year old. Make apt for Dr. Lanier and when I arrive Dr. Chacko comes in. His visit put a sour taste in my mouth. He was trying to speed through our apt and he dismissed my child have life threatening allergies. He started the convo by saying you parents with eczema kids think it’s all food related let’s add these foods back. I said have you looked at her chart she is ANA to a lot and has had clear reactions. I’m not doing that. He then proceeded to say ok well what kind of reactions. Dr. Chacko is excellent. Friendly staff. I’ve been going there for years and have had no issues.

It was easy to make an appointment and blood tests were recommended. When I needed to speak to a nurse, the call was returned on the same day.
