Central Pharmacy

I had a very disappointing experience at Central Pharmacy in Florence. My fiancés prescription was called in and confirmed as ready, but when I went to pick it up I was told she would not fill it because they would “lose money.” When I asked for the refusal in writing so I could give it to his doctor and insurance, I was instead talked down to repeatedly, as if I couldn’t understand, while she explained over and over about “losing money.” I do understand that, but what I didn’t understand was why that was being made our problem or why no clear options were explained. The way it was handled left us confused, believing he wouldn’t be able to get his medication at all. Later, the older woman stepped in and stopped the other woman from talking and abruptly changed the reason to “out of stock,

I give them a zero star. My husband was given a script that was to be dispensed as written, a name brand!!! they felt the need to call insurance and tell them he had been on generic for the past year and no need to change. Since when did you and the insurance company become doctors. It is not your place to interfer but to fill ppls meds. So my point to others how do you know the same is not happening to you. But it is all good the insurance company is going to fix this problem and we transfered all of our meds to a different place.
