I cannot recommend Dr. Nicholas Misischia and the team at Central Oregon Perio highly enough. I had my first gum graft with Dr. Misischia a couple of years ago and recently returned for a double graft. From my very first “establish care” appointment, he took the time to thoroughly explain gum recession and how it specifically related to my case, as well as what to expect throughout the process. Before, during, and after surgery, Dr. Misischia made sure I understood every step. He narrated what he was doing throughout the procedure so there were no surprises, which really helped me feel calm and informed. His dry sense of humor also added a personal touch that made the environment feel friendly and relaxed — something I really appreciated during a procedure that could have felt intimidatin

I had a gum graft with Dr. Nick and the care was outstanding from start to finish. The front desk team was welcoming and organized, and Dr. Nick’s assistants were calm, attentive, and reassuring throughout the process. Dr. Nick explained everything clearly, made sure the procedure was quick and painless, and his warmth and sense of humor made everything easier to get through. Dr. Nick did a great job on my skin graft, I really don’t like getting my mouth worked on but he made the procedure pretty easy and he’s a cool guy to chat with to! He was on top of making sure I was comfortable during the entire procedure.
