Centinela Skilled Nursing & Wellness Centre West

My husband has been a patient here for two months today. I visit daily for long hours so I can honestly say I have met and observed many of the staff on all shifts and also many of the patients. I tell you frankly this facility is top notch. The nursing staff, administration, physical therapists, attendants, front desk personnel, dieticians and cleaning staff are truly superior, professional, considerate and compassionate with everyone, and even to each other. I recommend them highly and trust me, I love everyone as Jesus commands, but He didn't say we had to like everyone. I truly like this facility and their dedication and consistency!!

My stepfather was here earlier this year and had a great experience. He had a few hiccups while settling in, but the staff was quick to fix my concerns. If he needs therapy in the future, I’ll have him come back here.

I called 12/27/2024 to see if I could become a volunteer and host fun activities for the residents here. The person that picked up my call around 1:15 PM said no. They don't take volunteers or do any collaborations of that sort. I hope they reconsider in the future.

I had my grandma here and everyone treated us like family. The level of respect and care was exactly what I had hoped for. From admissions to PT to the nursing staff. I can’t sincerely say enough about how they helped make this transition as smooth as possible. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Worst nursing home to place your loved ones. They are being investigated by the DOJ and FBI for patient abuse and neglect that lead to two deaths in three months. Therapy department in contracted out and there is no consistent therapies due to high turn-over.
