Centers Urgent Care of Astoria

Came in because I got very sick with a stomach bug and was dehydrated. Dr offered IV fluids for dehydration. I was left unattended and had to walk out of room to find a nurse/ask the front desk for help because no one was around and blood was backing up into the tube. Also, I only came here because the clinic said they took my insurance but nope, they didn’t. My claim was denied and I was left with a surprise bill because this provider was out of network. Would not trust. Front desk is not knowledgeable.

Quite possible the worst clinic ive been to in over 20 years. They will refuse to give your proper treatment because of their own beliefs. I came in and was seen by a caucasian female PA/doctor, around mid-late 30s/40s and was talked down to, ignored, and dismissed care. She was quite possibly the worst medical professional I’ve ever seen. I ended up going to the urgent care down the block, Medrite. Way better care and professionalism.

This was my 2nd time coming to this urgent care and I’m glad I did! The front desk was welcoming and you could feel a good vibe and energy from the ladies checking me in. I want to give a special mention to Wendy. You can tell she likes her job and the environment because she was friendly, professional and supportive.I came with a terrible cough. The place was empty so I was able to be seen quickly and my concerns were addressed. I would highly recommend coming here.

I've always had a great experience at Centers Urgent care. I'm seen quickly, insurance is a breeze, and everyone is super nice at this place. I've been here a few times now and prefer this place over CityMD or MinuteClinic.

The front desk and nursing staff were excellent, very responsive with clear communication. The PA was kind as well; however, I would have appreciated more detailed explanations regarding what happened, why it happened, and the potential side effects of the prescribed medication. The visit felt rushed, and there was little time given to discuss these important details.
