24 hour Cancer Clinic: The staff should consider informing patients about their no overnight stay policy prior to admission, so we can make a decision about whether to seek care from them. We were already experiencing a difficult time, and being told that I, as the wife, had to leave was unjustified. I requested to speak with the RN manager, which took forever, and was informed that the policy was intended to allow the patient to rest and for me to rest as well. However, this explanation seems unconvincing. The patient should have the autonomy to decide whether or not they want their primary caregiver to stay with them, rather than the facility making this decision. Healthcare can be a very personal thing. So many thing that affect your experience including the doctors, nurses, receptionists, and even the parking. The Froedtert/Medical College is a massive organization and complex, so this is a very limited review of one area, which is the Center for Advanced Care, and specifically the Ear Nose and Throat Clinic. Been coming here for several years, and have always been impressed with the level of professionalism, and care. Especially the staff that work with Dr. David Poetker. Would recommend them to others that are struggling with ENT issues.

My husband’s cardiologist and cardiovascular surgeon are very knowledgeable and experienced with a rare condition he has. We had gone to two other health care systems before finding the right care at Froedtert. Everyone at Froedtert from the valet parkers to the information desk people, medical assistants, certified nursing assistants, housekeeping, nurses and residents were all outstanding. We feel very fortunate to live near such a wonderful facility.

My mom had a sudden loss of hearing in one of her ears. I called to make an appointment and they were booking out well over a month out. They confirmed that she does have hearing loss in one ear. They said she should have come in earlier but because it was over a month there was nothing more they could do about it and it is now permanent. How does anyone get in early if you’re booking out over a month. So disappointing.

A lot of dedicated and talented medical and support people work here. I would also like to focus on the valet parking staff, especially Rashad Jones who has gone out of his way to help me multiple times locating my Uber driver. He is constantly stepping up to help people with a very friendly attitude. Thank you.
