Dr. Hanson was my vet for years and years. Was ALWAYS there when I needed him. Still miss him...we left Idaho 4 years ago. Wish I could find another vet like him.

The Vet is great. The techs are kind and helpful but the groomers are not professional by any means! She looked better going in than coming out! Never has my dog looked so bad! I’m embarrassed! They said they blow dried her but they didn’t no way! Her hair goes straight when blow dried! I had to bring her home and fix everything. Didn’t even touch her tail! She was so stressed out! I had to ask if they gave her a bath!

I honestly should have read the reviews sooner, but we have had such great experiences here I didn’t think I needed to. Having said that, the last couple months have been hard. A month ago we (my mom) had our dog cremated. The cremation was botched (I don’t necessarily blame cedar ridge for this since my understanding is they don’t do it) and it took weeks for us to get his ashes. They told us they would call and never did. Today we took our dog in to get a tooth pulled. They told us it would be 2 or 3 teeth and ended up pulling 8! We never authorized for 8 teeth to be pulled, especially because of the cost. They said it would have needed to happen eventually, but the cost of 2-3 teeth being pulled compared to 8 teeth was a huge hit for us. The other teeth could have been pulled at a later

I use to love this veterinary clinic... but lately it has not been the same. Today, when I called to get a prescription refilled for my dog's seizure medication, the receptionist was rude. She did not understand what medication my dog is currently taking, even when I kept explaining and even though it is in his records. I finally convinced her that I knew what I was talking about. They no longer carry the medication so I was told that they needed to call it into a Pharmacy. Then they charged me 5$ to call in the prescription. They emailed me later that day and told me that they will only fill it for 2 months because my dog hasn't had blood work done for a year. He was in for a full exam in June (4 months ago). The vets here are great but I will not come back for grooming. We asked for a teddy bear cut for our doodle and he came out with shaved hair falling off him, his tail wasn’t trimmed, his ears were irritated, and his toes weren’t trimmed (which we found out later). Sadly it was a hack job. We just got him groomed with our favorite groomer and she had to shave his tail and between his toes because they weren’t taken care of at his last grooming appointment.
