I was a patient of this dental office, and had no problems until I asked them to refund a credit left on my account from an insurance payment that I had apparently paid too much for. They did not want to refund the credit, but finally did. I just called to schedule a cleaning and was told there's a note on my account saying I can't come see this dentist again. When I did have fillings done here several years ago, the dentist told me I needed more fillings however the gentleman working in the billing office assured me that the "fillings" I needed weren't for actual cavities. That was concerning, and during this conversation the billing manager let me know I had a credit of somewhere around $50. They shouldn't be overbilling their clients. Or trying to give them fillings for non issues.

Dental hygienist does a great job. Didn’t love how little communication there was about the cavity fillings- everything seems rushed. When I went in for my filling appointment I had to ask how many-they told me 3 fillings but then only did 2 and had me schedule another appointment in a few weeks for the last one. I, like many others, have to take time off of work to go so it was super inconvenient. Most disappointing though was the filling that I did get on 1 (technically 2) front teeth horrible and over all sloppy. Later that evening the part of the filling that was smeared across my tooth (not where the cavity was) started lifting and in 3 days after getting the filling, it was out. They had said I could continue flossing but the filling connected my teeth and I couldn’t even get floss b

Not only they don’t do sedation but they don’t even do extractions which was a terrible disappointment. Other then that they were very nice and gentle with X-rays and cleaning and advice. There was no wait time and they did offer to refer me for extractions. However to me it is not a dental office without that service which I will need a lot of in the near future beeing an older adult. I do plan to visit again for cleanings. They accept essential plan insurance but not medicaid.

This practice refused to offer Spanish interpretation for non-native speaking children's appointments, which is unethical even if legal. They also dropped these kids as soon as their policies allowed them to, without notice. When trying to schedule a new appointment after one cleaning at a different practice, this practice says it will not reestablish patients. And that they don't have any obligation to let the client know that they will lose access to their services if they take any appointment elsewhere. This is unethical, especially if there was no dental work done the another practice.

I have been going to this location for cleanings and a filling for over a year a half and they were fine (not great, but did the job). Recently, I had to switch insurance providers and Dr. Gupta is listed as an in-network provider. The office is claiming that they aren’t accepting patients with this insurance (even though I’m not a new patient) and they refuse to accept the insurance despite being listed as a provider by the insurance company. I would have liked to stay with one dentist through my time in Ithaca, but am being forced to switch.
