Catawba Valley Medical Center Heliport

The orthopedic ward on the 2nd floor has been superb. The nurses are attentive, caring, and high quality. They really go above and beyond. There is an excellent PT crew as well.

I went to this hospital in pain charting over 10. I'm not a screamer, but the pain was unbearable. Triage took 30 minutes to get into. There were only 2 people in the waiting room waiting to be seen. The nurse said it sounded like I could be passing kidney. Then set me back in the waiting room and told me they didn't have a room so I had to wait. 10 minutes later a gentleman walks in sees triage in2 minutes then is escorted to the back. I cried in pain for 40 minutes. Also my BP was 250/140 and was told it was because of the pain. Was not treated for my BP or the pain so I left. Was bring back the next morning to the same hospital by 911 and the same happened except I was in a room. I ended up in the cold floor so I decided to get my own pain meds. My 10 year old daughter and I had to come here on a case of emergency in January here in North Carolina while we were visiting my oldest daughter. She was having an asthma attack and most will agree with me that that's a very stressful situation even for any parent. Especially being from Seattle Washington. I am happy and blessed to say that we had the best time at this hospital then we have my daughter was taken care of sasun promptly and the staff is very professional and she would really enjoy going to the hospital anytime so thank you to the staff my daughter and Ireally appreciate all of you:) Brooklynne And Rich Sabo 2015 Go Seahawks!!!

They really know how to take care of the patient and are very polite while caring for you.

I was so sick and the er was packed . Staff worked hard getting people in and out if the er. They were very nice and professional.
