My husband was in the Critical Care Unit for 3 weeks & the Med-Surge unit for a week. The staff there are excellent! It not only takes skill & knowledge to take care of critical patients, it's a true gift & calling. The nurses are the absolute best! They have a genuine love for what they do & for their patients. They show love & kindness for the patient's family as well. True Angels!!! Best nurses anywhere!!!

I would like to share a positive review of my recent experience at Claremont Regional Medical Center. From the moment I arrived, the level of service I received was exceptional. The receptionist was courteous and welcoming, setting a professional and reassuring tone for the entire visit. I arrived about 15 minutes early for my appointment, and to my surprise, they were able to take me back 10 minutes before my scheduled time. That level of efficiency was greatly appreciated—especially considering this was my first time leaving the house in two weeks following my hip replacement surgery. Steven Ocasio is an exceptional nurse who goes above and beyond for his patients. I’ve never felt safer under someone’s care than I did with Steven. Aside from that, he’s a true sweetheart with excellent bedside manner. Not enough recognition is given to nurses, especially at this hospital, but from my experience he’s the best nurse I could’ve asked for. He’s truly this hospital’s gem 💎

I had great nursers and other staff. EXCEPT one physical therapist (older gray haired witch) that should not be on staff anywhere. She was rude and mean the pain she caused me was unreal, then she tried to blame it on because I had not had any pain meds since midnight. She woke me up pulled me to the edge of the bed and dropped my legs told me to get up.( I had just had right hip replacement just about 19 hours beforehand. I couldn't move my leg at all. I had so much blood built up in my thigh that eventually my stitched popped open and blood just flowed from my leg, I even have this on video.) I recently stayed at Caromont Regional Hospital 4 1/2 days after having to have an emergency appendectomy. The surgery was first-rate with an excellent surgeon, Dr Graydon Stallard using amazing DaVinci technology. I had many really excellent nurses and CNAs caring for me during that time, to name a few: Fred, Channing, Nicole, Lauren, Kara, Kari, Ashley, Natalie, Katie, and Gloria who was not assigned to me, but helped with my discharge. My only complaint is that they placed patients from both Surgery and Psych units on the same floor, so the poor Psych patients who cry out both day and night kept the surgical patients awake. As sleep is one of the most important aspects of surgical healing, it was not beneficial. I believe the hospital needs to address that in order to: 1. provide surgi
