Carolina Priority Care

I had an accident at home while gardening and fractured a portion of my finger and cut it severely. I went to Carolina priority care, and they did an excellent job of taking care of me, not only were they welcoming, but also did take care of me properly. The office was very clean and gave me a sense of peace that I was in a good place. I have since had to go back to recheck and hopefully my sutures will be coming out tomorrow. I was seen by nurse practitioner Kelly. She did an excellent job of suturing my finger and x- rays ,giving me the care I needed. On the second visit when I went to recheck, I was seen by nurse practitioner Crystal who was also very professional and very nice. Several issues. 1st I came in with a dislocated shoulder. After being in the patient room for some time, the PA came in. She ordered an x-ray but it took a half hour before the tech came to get me. You had NO OTHER patients waiting for the tech except me. During my wait, I shifted in my chair and the dislocated shoulder popped back into its socket. I arrived at 5:30pm and the office closes at 8pm. After taking the x-ray and waiting until 8:15 we were informed that NO ONE had read the x-ray yet and they were still waiting. My wife and I decided it would be best to go home and the office agreed telling us that someone would contact us in the morning when the office opened. Never happened. Arrived at 9am per Google maps they were open but they had a sign on door they wouldn’t be opening until 10 instead. New patient so was upset but I waited. Once in was tested for flu and Covid strep and urinary tract infection. All came back negative. Left there went straight to ER was found to have UTI. PA was nice here. Didn’t wait an extremely long time once in, but I was very sick with fever and chills and was angry they didn’t update Google to prevent me from going somewhere else if they weren’t going to be open.

Will NEVER GO BACK As a side not to everything, they are the SLOWEST urgent care we have ever been to..... We paid our co pay for our insurance and then got stuck with a 335.00 bill for a lab result that we did not authorize. They did a strep test on my son but because their test came out negative they send out a second test to a lab. When I called to complain about the bill they were very aggressive in their tone and asked me why I would not expect an additional bill for lab work. They said they have to send out a lab when my 14 year old child comes in with a sore throat because he could die. I asked why they didn't do a lab on me when I cam in a week later with the same symptoms..... I guess I can die and it's no big deal!! They would not budge at all and I said that I never aut

I had an excellent experience there. The facility is clean and well kept. The staff are all courteous and friendly. I was there for shingles on a Friday. My NP got to me quickly and was extremely professional and helpful. I will return when I need an Urgent Care.
