Just go to a different practice. The billing is a HUGE problem. I had two visits, paid my copay, paid in full for my custom inserts, four years later I get a bill for $80, no reason, no explanation of services. I checked my health insurance account, CFC ran my TWO appointments 96 times!! I have 96 EOB's!! Seriously, you can find somewhere way better that has their accounting straight. The doctors might be good, but it's just not worth the headache. Time to contact the BBB

I'm not even sure where to start with this review. I am a veteran, who attempted to see podiatry on my own with Carolina Foot Centers. I'm still learning how non-military insurance works. Ultimately I ended up having more charges after my appt. I have been communicating with the medical billing company (WW Medical Billing) used by Carolina Foot Centers. Initially the rep, Wendy Weiner was very kind because I was trying to manage things during the govt shutdown. However I reached out over the weekend (not expecting an immediate response) to find out how to pay virtually. Their representative, Wendy Weiner, responded initially with no issue, again it was a Saturday so I wasn't expecting a response. Do not recommend. Never waited for less than 1 hour when I showed up to appointments on time, costs are very misleading and I received an additional bill years later. To process your appointment they use a stack of papers, write costs down on scrap and add it up with a calculator, no automation and often people at the desk would admit to not understand how to calculate the costs. Drs never knew what I was in the office for and started talking about problems that were not mine, and I would have to stop and correct them. UPDATE: I continue to be charged for visits that were not mine. Dates that the biller gave me were from before I moved to the state of South Carolina. No one gets back in contact with me regarding this.

This practice is the best! Everyone is kind and careful. I've had trouble with my feet for decades, and finally, I'm getting help. I've helped train physicians. Dr. Rafiq is top notch.

My husband was supposed to go to MUSC for an ingrown toenail removal and they cancelled his appointment with no notice when he already took the day off work. This office not only worked him in same day for new patient visit and exam, but completed the procedure pain free and fast! They got him back early, everyone was extremely professional and incredibly nice! We were referred by a friend who raved about how amazing they were and it was all true. Cannot say enough good things about this place!
