Carmichael’s Pharmacy IHP

Very reasonable prices! I rented a small wheelchair for my elderly aunt and bought a cushion and a gait belt at very good prices. The young lady Raven was very knowledgeable, helpful, kind and cheerful. I later realized I needed a seatbelt for the wheelchair and Raven had never installed one before. She promised to call me back when she learned how to. She called me a couple of hours later and was happy to install it for me. She was a consummate professional and Carmichael’s is very lucky to have such an asset as Raven. Highly recommend Raven!!

Called for information in the IV dept. the lady was rude and talked down to me when all I’m trying to figure out is safe ways to do things. I didn’t have an attitude except towards the end and she got even more upset when I called her out on it and that there was no reason to speak to me like that. She then hung up on me.

I have a love/hate relationship with them. Overall, I couldn't trust them to give me oxygen tanks that were full and that is a big deal. They had some great employees (delivery drivers) and some not so great (those who answer the phones…. I’m looking at you here). The biggest issue that I have with them is reliable oxygen in the tanks. I’d say the majority of tanks were only half full when we got them. Some were on red! This almost ended in disaster, but thank God I had grabbed 3 for the road for some unknown reason. We were stuck in traffic and my Mom definitely would have tun out of oxygen. Very quick, friendly service. They did business directly with me instead of forcing my disabled mother to get in and out the car which is very difficult for her, no questions asked. They had the new cane she needed in stock despite the uniqueness of it.

The lady waiting on us was very pleasant and helpful. The store offered several options to choose from.
