Carmel Hills Wellness & Rehabilitation

My sister Shelley has been at Carmel Hills for almost a year! The staff is always so friendly and if I have a concern they take care of it . It's always so clean and they have some of the sweetest people! I love going to visit my sister and a lot of the residents and have gotten close to a lot of staff there!!! We had a great visit today!

This place is awful, do not take your loved ones here. My mother was taken here after her hospital discharge and the room paint was falling apart, and the bed provided was hazardous as its brakes were malfunctioning, you could still move the bed and when trying to sit back down the bed started sliding away. Mom is a fall risk and they refused to see her that day for safety evaluation, as per Missouri state regulations they can’t have railings on the beds anymore unless prescribed which is why we were needing to be evaluated asap, as the reason she was hospitalized in the first place is because she fell rolling off the bed and couldn’t get back up. My mother had an accident and couldn’t make it to the bathroom, we pushed the nurse button 20-30 mins later we finally got help. In those 20-30

Absolutely AMAZING!! Y'all take absolutely amazing care of everyone my family is so much happier at your facility thank you seriously, I was so worried about 3 family members and they're ALL now with y'all and Happy and finally feel comfortable where they are because of y'all thank you so much!!

My step dad is only 60 yrs.old. he's always been an active man. Unfortunately his stroke affected a part of his brain that controls your leg movement ,and using the bathroom. In the beginning I was ok with him being there, thinking he would get some rehabilitation of some kind. , sadly that is not the case. The people are there only to get a paycheck. They care nothing for these patients. They all do the very bare minimum. It's sad that nobody wants to see these people get back to living their life. They are more concerned about punching the time click . They should hire better people, get better more professional more helpful people involved there. At this point they only get 1 start. And that's bc I had to pick one. . DO NOT WANT YOUR FAMILY GOING HERE

I read some of the reviews online and was concerned. I found that my fears were unfounded. The staff was very nice. The facility was clean and the residents appeared well cared for. My Dad was at dinner, which smelled and looked good, and he told me that this was the best meal yet.
