I’ve had Dr Ramirez as my primary doctor for seven years. He is a great physician and very experienced, knowledgeable, and real caring with great diagnosis and remedy knowledge. For some time the front office was not responsive, but recently with change of staff, the service, ease of arranging appointments, sending referrals have improved greatly. Follow ups from the doctor’s office still need to be improved. Thank you very much Dr. Ramirez for your excellent care and great helps to me as a patient.

Yesterday doctor Ramirez new front office receptionist Kimberly booked for me the same day appointment with dr Ramirez. I was suffering from very bad sinuous headache , runny nose, all cold or allergy symptoms. Kimberly has very polite and companionate personality. Also doctor Ramirez who is highly educated and knowledgeable doctor as usual prescribed the right medications for me and I already today feeling so much better. If you are looking for the best doctor in Monterey I highly recommend dr Ramirez and his professional medical team🌺

I like Dr. Ramirez. He is personable and always takes time to ralk. On the other hand, I am beyond frustrated with Dr Ramirez's office staff. Prescriptions are not filled in a timely manner. I'm placed on endless hold only to be dumped to voice mail. Augh!!!

Dr Ramirez has always been attentive, informative, and is always willing to do more with regard to seeking additional information and opinions. He’s caring and concerned. Yes, at times he isn’t as accessible as he used to be because he has more patients and well- that’s a good thing. It means that he’s a good doctor and people know it- admittedly it’s sometimes inconvenient for me. But, who’s really available 24/7 these days between work and family? Communicating with office staff through Epic: MyChart is extremely useful and provides quick responses for when I’m not quite sure as to what I should do: appointment or ER or just wait it out. Dr. Ramirez and Shelby are amazing, but unfortunately the front desk staff are rude and not helpful. I went in today for an appointment, and was told that I had an outstanding balance of $187. When I asked for details, the person at front desk put a bill in front of me which just had an office visit listed, which is usually a $20 co-pay. When I asked for more details, she simply repeated what was on the bill. I was then told they would not let me see the doctor unless I paid the bill. The front desk manager then got involved, and stated the same thing. She did offer for me to pay a portion so I could see the doctor, and when I said that i would pay the $20 co-pay, she refused and stated she was just doing her job.
