Carithers Pediatric Group - Southside location

So thankful for Dr. Ferguson. She is always so sweet, patient, and caring with our daughter. We truly appreciate the love and attention she gives every visit. She always makes us feel safe and comforting when we see her. Thankful to have her as our pediatrician for our little girl 🩷

I have been with this office since my first born in 2016 and I liked the doctors and the reason why I stayed this long with them. I called the sick line three weeks ago and left a message but they still have not called me. I ended up taking my child to urgent care to get the help they need. It’s always been hard to get calls returned and sometimes when they do, the nurses can be rude and condescending but because I am happy with the doctors I tolerated it. Not anymore. You just lost three established patients because of your ignorant nurse line.

Love my children’s pediatrician but it’s like pulling teeth to get someone to call you back to reschedule an appointment. Ive been calling for 2 weeks straight to schedule appointments for my children, leaving voicemails and no one returns calls. I was extremely sick the two times I was given an appointment and when called to cancel I was given such an attitude and was told “I SHOULD CHARGE YOU A CANCEL FEE” like god forbid someone be sick, it’s not like I planned on getting sick. Thinking about switching pediatricians at this point.

Terrible office management. After reading their reviews, I see I'm not the only disappointed parent. They don't return phone calls. When finally someone answers the phone, they answer as if they're doing you a favor. Very defensive and with an attitude, no customer service skills, at all. I left several voicemails to schedule my son's yearly check up and they hung up on me twice when I requested to be transferred to the office manager. On top of that I was given a sarcastic answer by Ashley "I'm the only one returning calls" and then hung up.... The Drs and nurses are great when it comes to scheduling a sick appointment, but it's difficult for me to set up an appointment with the office just for a well checkup.

Visited Carithers as a new patient and I was amazed how friendly and professional the nurse and Dr Ferguson were! Absolutely stunned! I forgot to check my messages so I didn’t know I had to wait in the car and let them know I was there, when I showed up in the office the staff were having a bit of an attitude about that. But aside from that I was satisfied with the level of care we received for my daughter. Dr. Ferguson sang to my daughter while examine her, and the nurse read her a book and also sang to her. It was a very heartwarming experience at this medical clinic.
