We have had a handful of appointments at this office since my baby’s birth and each one has been fantastic! The doctors, receptionists, and staff have all been attentive, professional, and pleasant. The office is nice and clean. They have a well thought out system and we have never been made to wait long. They even gift us a book to read our baby after each visit! The attention to detail for my son’s care has made me so happy we found this pediatrician’s office for my baby! 10/10 would recommend

Formal Complaint Regarding Today’s Appointment Experience To Whom It May Concern, I have been a patient of Carithers & Carithers Pediatrics since May 14, 1986 — the day I was born. For nearly four decades, I have trusted your practice with my care and, more recently, with the care of my children. However, today was the first time I have ever felt that this office no longer prioritizes patient care, particularly for children, and is more focused on financial policy than compassion. I scheduled a sick appointment for my son at 3:55 p.m. and informed the nurse that it would be difficult for me to arrive exactly on time due to my work location on the Southside (University Boulevard) and needing to pick my son up on the Westside (103rd Street). This company does not care about your children in my opinion. They only care about profits in my opinion. We denied one vaccine and didn’t even deny it we just didn’t want him to have anymore at this time. They discharged us for pushing back one vaccine. I cannot think of any other reason as to why they would discharge us other than they will not receive some sort of financial benefit for fully vaccinating our son. If that wasn’t true they would have explained why we needed that vaccine and why we needed it now which did not occur they just politely moved on then discharged us with 0 compassion.

Lynn at the front desk had some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. It’s hard being a mother but great people like that make life. Little easier. Thank you Lynn.

We normally have no issues with this office but I had called and left a message to make an appointment for two of my kids. I got a call back and was asked if I needed to reschedule so I let her know, no, I dont have an appointment, I called to make appointments. She was rude and kept telling me my kids didnt have appointments.. I had to keep letting her know that I was calling to make an appointment. She asked what the appointment was for and said I needed to speak to the nurse and she would schedule it. I was on hold for 15 minutes, someone picked up and immediately hung up the phone. I call back at 4:45 pm and I get a voice message saying the office is now closed, except office hours are until 5pm.
