I stayed here for 20 days in February after a total knee replacement. The physical and occupational therapy were excellent. I especially appreciate the great work that my physical therapist, Dawn, did in getting me from basically immobile to moving freely and able to go home and be largely independent. I can’t thank her enough for her support, kindness and refusal to give up on me. My occupational therapist, Joan, was a daily ray of sunshine who pushed me to do my best, always with a smile and positive encouragement. She was very perceptive and never pushed me farther than I could tolerate. The other people who took care of me were pretty stretched thin and did the best they could. It is because of the need for more staff that I rate Carillon 4 instead of 5. I often had to wait too long

Social worker Laura Kenny is amazing and so very helpful. Really puts her heart into it. Shows she really cares Thank you so much Ok if it wasn’t for my guys at PT Rich and OT Scott I would still be there recovering. They are the best I can’t say enough about them. I would sit back and watch them interact with everyone and they showed how much they cared. They put their heart and soul into everything they do. I will miss them very much. Thanks again for everything Tom the nurse awesome treats you like your a human with a brain. Always smiling and checking in to make sure you’re okay or if you need anything. Thank you for everything (Coffee in a paper cup too) the best My aides were amazing always checking on me thanks to you all

My family is very happy with the care given to my mother. Our only concern is the length of time for her to use restroom. We do understand the shortage of aides and appreciate the difficulty in working in this environment. We love all the staff and their helpfulness and friendliness.

My family and I are so grateful for the care my father received at The Carillon. Having had experience with several other rehabilitation centers in the past, I can say without hesitation that The Carillon sets the standard for what elder care and rehabilitation should look like. When my dad arrived from Huntington Hospital in July, he was in rough shape physically weak, with delirium on top of dementia. From the very beginning, the staff not only provided excellent medical care but also treated him (and us) with dignity, patience, and compassion. Haley went above and beyond to guide me through the process, explaining everything clearly and even helping me navigate insurance questions. She gave me the reassurance I needed to feel comfortable leaving town for a family trip, knowing my dad

Very disappointed! My 94 year old mom came down with a fever and the nurse took her temperature with two different scanners and came up with 97.5. I decided to bring in my thermometer and she had a fever of 101.4. The nurse then said we will have to check her temperature at her bottom. She then got a reading of 101.6! She needs antibiotics to fight the infection and they refused until she took all these tests to warrant the need for it. Meanwhile she is suffering with a fever and all they can give her is some Tylenol! I pray for anyone who gets ill there, not very helpful with dealing with a fever!!
