CareSpot Urgent Care of Jacksonville Southside

This is by far THE WORST I have EVER been treated. Dr. Christina was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I came in with extreme abdominal pain, nausea, and extremely painful urination Dr. Christina spent a total of ONE minute in my room. She told me if it gets worse to go to the hospital. Well I don’t see how much worse I could get so what was the point of spending $100 on a one minute visit when my husband went to the front to discuss a refund of sorts as I was not treated and I still have to go to the hospital. When Dr. Christina came in my room to ask about my husbands issue she came in incredibly rude and when I tried to explain she snapped at me and told me I was in the wrong. The receptionist medical assistant showed genuine concern for my reasoning of needing urgent care. She made sure with consultation with the doctor they can remedy my situation. The comfort level they made everyone as a patient feel was above and beyond the personalities of a major Hospital visit. Thank You Carespot

Caring, welcoming, friendly, professional staff. The ease of scheduling same day appointments at multiple locations is a great business model. They have the ability to provide fast lab results and call in prescriptions to pharmacies. Illnesses and injuries don't always occur M-F bet 0800-1700. I'm appreciative of this service especially during off hours, weekends and holidays when primary care appointments are unavailable. Urgent care is so much better than sitting in an emergency waiting room waiting for medical care for an illness or injury. I find value in urgent care and highly recommend.

Recently visited this location with an appointment for a DOT drug screen. I was not seen until an hour AFTER my appointment time. In that one hour wait, about 5 people walked in with/without appointment times AFTER me and were seen before me. Once I was brought back the process was smooth with no hiccups. This location needs to do better about seeing people with appointment times FIRST then the walk-ins.

It was easy to schedule the appointment the same day. Front Desk was very nice, and the provider, Kristina was very attentive and helped. Identify the problem and suggest the treatment plan.
