CareSpot Urgent Care of Jacksonville Arlington Cesery

I tried to pay my sister's copay to be seen for an urgent care visit. The paperwork stated a card would be kept on file but that we could revoke the approval of keeping said card on file at any time. When I inquired about the process I was told if we didn't keep the card on file we would not be seen. I did not disagree with keeping the card on file temporarily but asked again how we revoke that approval later on. I was told we cannot revoke the approval to keep the card on file. When I inquired as to why the paperwork says we have the right to revoke the approval, an answer could not be provided. This place is ridiculous. Do not come here if you value your time. Sure, you CAN schedule an appointment, but they are so short staffed that they can't honor their own scheduling system. We just went in to get some antibiotics and it took an hour AFTER our scheduled appointment to even be told that we would be seen next. It's extremely upsetting and disappointing. Literally drive to any other location, it's gonna be faster than waiting in the lobby at this one. I'd rather risk death than wait like that with a bunch of sick people.

The staff are rude and do not provide updates when appointment times are missed by more than an hour. When I asked for a refund, they told me to "get out" and wouldn't give me a receipt. They said needing a receipt was a "you" problem. I went to MD Now on Merrill and was seen right away. I won't return to Care Spot, at least not this location.

Made an appointment for my son early this am for 11:30am to get him seen, as he needs inhaler refills bc of his asthmatic flare ups. Literally went to the counter (lady definitely looked like she loved her job) no smile or welcomeness. I let her know I made an appointment for my child & gave her my DL & insurance card, not even 2 minutes later she’s like oh your insurance is inactive. I said no it’s not, it just started this year & is fully active & advise her who again the carrier is, even though it’s on the card. She then states that I would need to contact my medical provider to find out, I’m like noooo you need to be the one doing that as the front office representative if you’re having issues on your end. I like that they can accommodate working people after hours. I appreciate that. The staff was kind and definite welcoming. I was coming straight from room. Thank you.
