CareOne at Northampton

My mother received excellent service at Care One at Northampton. Personal and professional staff. She was kept comfortable and surrounded by exceptional care. An extra 'thank you' to Jim, Scott, and Kaitlyn for their communication and organization capabilities. Highly recommend!

My mother was just released after spending 3.5 weeks at Care One. She was in another facility immediately prior to this where she had a terrible experience. She was anxious about going to another facility. As soon as we walked into Care One the staff were welcoming and caring. I had reached out prior to my mother's arrival to let them know the circumstances and they were extremely receptive and took extra care with her. The health care system for elders and disabled folks is pretty messed up but Care One is doing a good job prioritizing and caring for their patients.

My mom Bea Rose started her journey at CareOne in Northampton on the Rehab floor after a fall resulting in a shoulder fracture at her Assisted Living Memory Care facility. The staff on the rehab floor are wonderful & very professional. The care she received was excellent. The SW was aware of our plan not to send her back to the facility after recovery. They offered us a LTC bed on Federal 2. The staff here are excellent too. We never worried about how when was being cared for, & communication was always great. When she began to decline, they recommended Hospice & we accepted that. The day before she passed we were informed by hospice of her grave decline. We, the family, came in to be with her & say our goodbyes. They were very accommodating to her needs as well as ours. In orde

The staff at care one have such big hearts. They took excellent care of my loved one during his last few weeks and I really felt like, they cared about him as a person. Although he was only able to take advantage of their care for a couple of weeks, during that time I felt that each individual caring for him was doing their absolute best. They always give him hope and encouragement! It was a staff member at Care.One that realized he was in distress on his last day and immediately had him transferred to the ER. I will be forever grateful that his last days were made as positive as possible by the staff at Care One.

Where to start... Shannon my loved one's nurse was so kind and helpful getting her settled in, Jim the social worker answered our questions and was always there to chat, Ali the OT was so articulate and informative, basically everyone has been so kind and incredibly professional. It has been an unbearable journey at times wondering if things would improve and their encouragement has been a gift. I want them all to know how much they are appreciated.
