CareOne at Hanover

Care One at Hanover lives up to its name of Care None. they are understaffed and the CNA‘s are rude and nasty. At times they do not even speak to the patient when giving care. Some of the RNs do not speak or understand English very well. It definitely impacts the patient. I would not send any one. I know here. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for rehab care. The physical therapy and occupational therapy are good, but it is not worth the suffering the patient has to endure with sub-optimal nursing care.

I cannot rave enough about Care 1 Hanover. My Mom had Parkinson’s & was a resident for 3 months. The aides, especially Wally & Arlene, were awesome. They are overworked & underpaid for all they do. Always smiling & making my Mom comfortable. The nurses, especially April & Valerie, were wonderful too. I’m a healthcare worker & understand the stress of the job with all that the patients need, yet all of them smile & greet you very warmly. Though my Mom’s Parkinson’s progressed fairly quick, the P.T. Department was wonderful with her….she received PT/OT everyday & if she was in too much pain to get out of bed, they came to her. Sophia the social worker was very easy to talk to and very compassionate & accommodating, can’t thank her enough for all she did to help me. I’m sure I’m forgetting

Care One of Hanover is top notch for rehab!!! From the instant my sister and I toured the facility with Samantha, through today, we have witnessed first hand the staff being extremely attentive, knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, and always engaging with their patients and families. In addition to the great care, my mom has said that the food is so good that she wants to bring the chef home with her. I highly recommend this place and cannot thank them enough for giving my mom and our family the confidence and peace of mind knowing that she is in a safe, caring and well staffed place.

This post-acute care and rehab facility in Hanover, NJ is truly outstanding. The main building is a beautifully restored historic mansion, complete with a spacious covered front porch with rocking chairs — perfect for enjoying the outdoors. There's also a bright wrap-around sunroom for family visits and a lovely dining hall with access to a large outdoor patio. The staff here are warm, friendly, and incredibly caring. Nurses are attentive and professional, always on time with care, but respectful of your privacy when you need quiet. The physical and occupational therapy teams are excellent — knowledgeable, patient, and truly invested in your recovery. Special shoutout to the Activities Director, Lana, and her amazing team, Courtney and Kim — they go above and beyond to keep residents act

I’m very excited and happy with how enthusiastic and organized the recreational team and leadership (Lana) has been working with the community. They all go above and beyond to make things special for residents and to ensure that residents feel seen/heard. The team is also very receptive to suggestions of activities and additions to their schedule. Lori, director of nursing, has also been a super star in handling challenging situations. Very happy she has a full team of upper management and support now.
