Customer Reviews
I wanted to sincerely thank Courtney Green dedicated to exceeding expectations and incredible support while my father was in CareOne Brookline rehab. She was understanding and flexible with my schedule: her leadership during that tough time was exceptional. Furthermore, doctors, nurses (RNs/LPNs), front desk staff, and all employees were really supported as an employee, and it's inspiring to work for someone who values their team like that. My family and I want to thank you all so much!!
I was in CareOne for almost 2 years and I want to thank the team for being caring, professional, and exceptional in their care. When I was at my most vulnerable the team rallied around me and brought me back to a state of health that no one felt possible. The CNA's nurses and therapists on the 2nd floor were my family....yup you too Tenela. I want to give a special shout out to the rehab folks under the careful eye of my friend Christina. If it were not for them I would not be walking today. I have seen that group of exceptional professionals encourage and succeed in getting patients to walk and exercise whom I thought had zero chance of getting out of their bed. If anyone questions my sincerity I have the videos to prove it. Words cannot express the depth of my gratitude to this extraordi
My mother was in "short term" rehab at CareOne Brookline recently, and I am still in awe about the terrible communication and accountability structures in place at this facility. I called every number I could find online and in the brochure in her room during the first week of her stay, trying to get someone to tell me how she'd been assessed and what her plan of care was. Eventually, I had to go into the facility in person where I was told that the phone system wasn't working. I was impressed by the care of the nursing, OT, and PT staff I encountered who were warm, caring, and professional -- but clearly understaffed. However, the room was dismal and drab - not a single decoration - and Mom was in complete sensory deprivation most of the time. What was galling was the so-called "direct
My brother was here for rehab after falling at home and fracturing his leg. Staff ranged from pretty good to not good at all. When I called to see how he was doing it took several calls over several days to get any response. Eventually he went home with the promise of a wheelchair and hospital bed. Within a few days he had fallen again. After he was home for about a week he fell badly and was taken back to the hospital and then back to Care One. I asked a geriatric care manager to look into his situation and when my brother would get the equipment he needs to be safe at home. It took days for anyone to get back to her, and then only to say they would get my brother's permission to talk with her. So far, that has not seemed to have happened. My brother, by the way is fully willing to have
The communication is literally terrible here. All the staff are unfriendly. It took about three days for a doctor to contact me and I had to go in person and seek them out. I originally made a review and apparently, they get notified with every bad review. The nursing director really tried to listened to me, so I deleted the review. He and my mom's doctor assured me that they would be at my mom's family meeting. Conveniently he was "sick" and the doctor wasn't there. So, it looks like I was sweet talked into deleting the review. My moms situation is complicated and details were not relayed to discharge manager or care manager ( forget her exact position) non of them were familiar with what services my mom needs or doesn't need upon discharge. So, basically this meeting was a waste and they
