CareNow Urgent Care - Pooler Parkway

I took my daughter to this urgent care today and had an excellent experience. The young woman at the front desk was very friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome right away. Dr. Tarek is an outstanding professional—very caring, patient, and thorough. He treated my daughter with great kindness and made sure to explain everything clearly. From now on, this will be the place I go to whenever we need care.

I had a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in I was treated so well. I felt cared for and the entire team was friendly and professional. Despite being sick and feeling very cruddy my interactions with everyone was a joy. It was so refreshing to be made welcome and feel like my care mattered to everyone. Nobody was too preoccupied. Nobody was annoyed that I walked in and they were going to have to take care of me. It was quite the opposite and I appreciate the top notch care greatly. In a world where so often we have to accepted poor customer service it is such a delightful to receive true professional and thoughtful care. I would not hesitate to go here again if I need care outside of my regular doctors.

I’ve had to visit Apple Care twice recently—once on December 24th for the flu and again on January 10th for a sinus infection—and both experiences were outstanding. In both instances, the service was fast and efficient, yet I never felt rushed. The staff truly takes the time to listen, which is a breath of fresh air for an urgent care setting. A special shout-out to Tarek Khalil, PA-C. His patient-centered approach is exactly what healthcare should look like. He is attentive, professional, and genuinely focused on the individual needs of the patient. Honestly, I wish he could be my permanent Primary Care Physician! If you’re looking for quick care that doesn't sacrifice quality or compassion, I highly recommend this team.

Not sure why my review was taken down. Whether it be a positive or negative review, they should all be left for everyone to read and decide for themselves. I’m very disappointed with my experience here. The doctor didn’t fully investigate my symptoms before deciding on a diagnosis. I showed the exact area where I was having pain, but they insisted it was related to an organ that isn’t even close to that location. I was given medication that I likely didn’t need based on what I later found out. A few days later my symptoms got worse and I ended up in the ER, where they determined the issue was something completely different and nowhere near what the urgent care doctor said it was. I understand that urgent care can’t always run every test, but I expected a more careful evaluation instead of

By far a most caring and compassionate team. The CSR was very kind and helpful. When I was called to the back the Medical Assistant was personable and professional and I felt secure that she was confident in her role. I can’t give enough praise to the PA Tarek Khalil. He was on point with all of the information he shared with me about my visit. The appearance of the office was very clean. Highly recommend this facility and if you knew me I don’t give compliments easily lol. I hope this helps in your decision making.
