CareNow Urgent Care - Plano

I really have to share that the staff and Dr Perez Are absolutely amazing. They really listen to you and they really wanna help. Dr. Perez took an amazing care of my 88-year-old mom even recommended to take her to the ER because he didn’t like what he saw. He will definitely become my primary doctor love this group in Plano, Texas.

Feedback about Victoria: Victoria is very professional, efficient and knowlegable. She demostrated this via her excellent communication skills and her active listening skills. I asked many qustions and she provided me with clear and concise information. Victoria also demonstrated high awareness of patient’s experience satisfaction as she handled my care with consideration of our generational differences. I was very impressed. The staff is all wonderful. Doctor Perez is exceptional in his care and is very knowledgeable. I unfortunately arrived close to their closing time twice and they were polite and helpful with great attitudes each time. I have worked as an ER nurse and was pleasantly surprised at both their quality of care and their fantastic attitudes. I would come here again and again. The front staff were polite, the MAs were lovely, and Doctor Perez is skilled and highly competent-something I can recognize due to my work experiences. I feel confident they can handle simple injuries as well as know when to reliably refer patients to emergency departments for higher levels of care, whereas I would frequently see cases in the ER where other urgent cares delivered inappropriate or subpar care. If you are in a position where you HAVE to feel better quickly…don’t go here. It was Christmas Eve and I woke up with the worst sore throat, not being able to swallow. Given the day, with family and granddaughter coming over, I rushed over to the CareNow in Plano where my husband had a good experience. My initial appointment was at 9:50. After receiving a text telling me there’s a delay to 10:21, I didn’t get called in until 11 and the doctor didn’t come see me until 11:24. I get delays, especially on such a day. The nurse ASKED me (not recommended) but ASKED me if I wanted to do any tests (“I don’t think it’s anything but if you want to…”). I said “yes! Of course” and only then did they test me for flu, covid and strep (all negative). I just wanted a steroid shot or something t
