CareNow Urgent Care - 26th Avenue North

I had gotten sick while on vacation so we looked up the closest urgent care and came here. Didn't have to wait long at all before being seen. All the staff was very pleasant. The doctor on call was very knowledgeable and very friendly. So glad we came here

I was on vacation, and a lot of the urgent cares would not accept walk-ins due to it being so busy everywhere. However, this location, although busy, not only accepted my late walk-in, but also exceeded my expectations! The lady up front was so sweet and helpful. The nurse that brought me back was just as sweet. The doctor (I believe his name was Dr. Joseph) was thorough and absolutely amazing! Although it was already passed their closing time, he didn't rush the appointment, and he was genuinely concerned about my symptoms. Hopefully I won't be sick again on vacation, but if I am, this will be my place to go!

Paid $180 for them to test me (which is standard) to see if my fever/sore throat/cough/sneezing etc was viral or bacterial because you can't prescribe antibiotics if it's Viral. However once they found that out & that it wasn't COVID they just sent me on my way. (You STILL need to manage the symptoms). People have to go to work & some of us have other issues - for example I have Dysautonomia which affects every aspect of my nervous system. Just being slightly "off" in any way shape or form becomes a nightmare for me. It's incredibly hard to find a Dr that understands this at all. My GP in Florida understood & would have given me something to control my cough (A Tussin variant with Codiene due to being awake all night coughing & then the lack of sleep causing CNS issues & seizures - which

All the staff was very professional and compassionate very warm atmosphere. Joseph O'Neill PA my caregiver listen to all of my symptoms talked with me laid out a plan of treatment insisted that I have a follow-up visit. I know God sent me to care now Urgent Care 26th Avenue North and Kings Highway

We are on vacation and we both came down with the crud. We chose this location as it was close to our villa. The folks here are very kind and accommodating. The wait time was minimal and everyone was on point. Thanks for taking care of us !
