Care Manor Nursing and Rehab

I was there for rehab 23 days, learning to walk after a bad fall. I had 2 showers and bedding changed once. My bedside kimode overflowed causing me to put my hand in it. The food was horrific and I lost 30 lbs. My clothes were left in the laundry, but I was welcome to go through lost and found. CNA's were quite helpful as were nurses. My overall stay was mentally taxing to tell the truth.

Well I was sent over from Baxter Regional Hospital last Thursday after having a double breast removal surgery ( feeling sore and sad). Yesterday I got a nice hot shower and started Physical Therapy and ai just came from Physical Therapy again ! The therapists are thorough and skilled . The cooks are amazing , whipping up special menues to everyone’s taste . Housekeeping staff are all great at their jobs , keeping the rooms clean . Everyone works very well together as a team from the office staff - to the van drivers and are always happy to lend a helping hand. I’m happy to have spent my rehab time at Care Manor .

CNA'S work hard all the time to take care of all of the elderly direct care needs and the Nurse's respect how hard they work! The nurses work hard too giving every bit of their time for providing medical care and are constantly assessing their residents with good communication with the facility NP! All the staff tries to address any comments or concerns right away.

My Uncle is there and shares a room with another resident . While there on Sunday April 27th, the other resident was sitting in his wheelchair in a pond of urine that was running all over the floor. They had a towel on the floor under the wheelchair that was clearly soaked! The room smelled so bad of urine that I could not even breathe and had to go outside. The staff is friendly but short handed and the residents are neglected…sitting in urine!

The care my mother has received there has been excellent. The nursing staff and caregivers all the way through are phenomenal. The adminstrators are rude, mean, and liars. Beware of that end. They refused to work to try and get my mother in assisted living in spite of having said they would and then accused me of not wanting my mother to come home to an unsafe enviroment. I currently have a broken leg as well as having had recent arm surgery and cannot catch her if she falls. She's currently under isolation and yet they've deemed her fit and healthy for release. The admin of this place is detestable.
