Dr. Howard is a great doctor who is very knowledgeable and great at explaining what is happening with your health. However the office practices with regard to follow up care and prescriptions is difficult at best. Months can go by with no follow up prescriptions or any kind of communication letting you know they received your email request and are processing it. You can get a treatment plan during your doctor’s visit, but never get to follow through on it because you can’t contact anyone. It can feel like your ability to manage your health care is being held hostage.

Dr. Howard has the potential to be a great provider, but lacks integrity when it comes to following up with test results. She seems to be overwhelmed with her own practice and allows the stress to get the best of her. If you're healthy and don't need anything from her, she's a great choice, with thorough bloodwork feedback. But if you're waiting for results, or anything urgent, or for a reply to an email, you'll be very stressed and disappointed waiting for her or her staff to respond. We also waited for her in the exam room for an hour, with no apology for being late.
