Hello! My son was sick and we just moved to the area a few months ago. With the body aches, I didn’t want to drive 30mins to our usual urgent care facility. I looked online found Carbon Health with open appointments! I was so happy! The website was extremely easy to use and I was able to schedule a virtual appointment for 10am (it was 9:47am) SAME DAY! I made the appointment, received confirmation and within 10 minutes a lovely woman (whose name escapes me, 😢) called and confirmed my appointment!!! She took my insurance information over the phone in like warp speed including copay!! I wasn’t even off the phone with her and Dr. Zia was calling me via the virtual link!!!! It was such a relief! Friendly, efficient and professional. I took my son there for allergy treatment without any expectation. It turned out very pleasant! The doctor quickly diagnosed the symptoms, give him a shot, and observed him for 45 minutes then we were on our way out and my son felt a lot better: the symptoms were almost gone and no more pain and discomfort. Wonderful job!

In general, the folks here are pleasant, efficient, and take good care. My one suggestion is to not make a first appointment of the day, as they do tend to run a little late in opening on time. For the second time, I booked a first appointment of the day (8am), and the front desk staff rolled in at 8:05, with no sign of any health care staff in the back.

Needed an ortho consult and first choice was closed for a long holiday weekend. When I googled orthopedic urgent care near me carbon health was in top three to show up. They have a whole page on orthopedic care and I was able to choose fracture as reason for visit. Made an appointment online easy enough. But when we got to the Montgomery location I was told they don't have an xray machine nor an orthopedic doctor. Our time there was an hour. Walked out with a sling that the nurse was unfamiliar with putting on. I understand orthopedics is a specialty but don't advertise you offer this care as an option at all facilities especially ones without xray. I had a bad experience with the front desk person. The front desk person gave me a hard time. I waited in the waiting room from 2:50-4:00 pm. She is not professional. I provided her my insurance Kaiser ID number and group number , my name and my driver license. She typed it in. She said the ID number is invalid. I called the insurance company, the insurance company staff confirmed the number is correct. But the front desk person insisted to ask insurance card even though I had the insurance company staff online to verify all my information is correct. Then I went online to get my Kaiser to get my E-card and sent it to her through email.She tutors on the information. Then she did not know tying which code.
