Carbon Health Urgent Care Carlsbad - La Costa

Easily the best medical experience I have ever had! When checking in I was met with the best hospitality by the two women at the front desk! I waited for a very short time before going back to get blood work done. The PA was awesome and the gentleman who took my blood was very kind and patient. Overall a rad and easy experience:)

Everyone was so nice and professional. I didn’t get the name of the gentleman that checked me in, sorry. Laura the medical assistant was such a great employee, friendly, professional and just an all around nice person. PA Gina the health care provider knew her stuff. She was thorough and very friendly. I will definitely go back if I need it.

I went in not feeling so well. Receptionist greeted me very kindly. Nurse that took my vitals was very efficient and the Physician that saw me (Gina) conducted herself with a high level of care and concern that felt very sincere. Now to get over this flu!

Carbon Health is an excellent urgent care facility. Clean, easy to make an appointment, and staff are efficient and friendly. Dr. Gina is the BEST doctor I’ve ever seen. She is meticulous in every aspect!! I was fortunate to see her, by chance, for a second time and I’m truly lucky. If all doctors were this careful and conscientious we’d have a healthier society and we wouldn’t hate going to doctors. Thank you Dr. Gina.

Please be very careful before going to this location. Make sure you check your insurance coverage in advance. In our experience, the visit costs were extremely high and they were not contracted with major insurance plans. We went there several times for convenience, but unfortunately we did not receive accurate diagnoses. The medications prescribed did not resolve the issues, and we ended up having to seek care elsewhere, including urgent care and emergency visits. We were never seen by a physician, only by a PA. While PAs can provide care, we did not feel confident in the evaluations we received. The experience felt rushed and unprofessional.
