Capital Health Specialty Practices – Bordentown

If i could give 0 stars i would. I was recommended to this location for rheumatology after going for many many many other tests and years of symptoms. After being in a flair up for now 2 full months, I got to see a doctor at this practice. He wrote me off from the very beginning since I came from the base, yelling (and stomping his feet) that the military doctors dont know how to diagnose.....but refused to see that after all of the other doctors I saw this was a recommendation from outside of the base. He refused to do a work up on me, refused to listen to my symptoms and laughed at all the other doctors recommendations, continued to cut me off every time i tried to advocate for my health. He stood up and told me to go back to the base. Wasn't even in the room for 10min. Rude, unprofes

Another Capital Health office that doesn’t answer the phone or return voicemails. After trying to get through a few times I quickly moved on to another provider. I’ve had the same experience with Capital Health primary care and other specialists.

Went for rheumatology a few years ago doctor gas lit me into thinking I was crazy took me off my meds then after I found someone who knew what they were talking about got proper help before my body started shutting down don't risk your health with the rheumatologists here

My daughter had 3 appointments at this office. On our way to third appointment we were stuck in traffic due to heavy rain and when we arrived at the office we found out that our appointment had been cancelled. We arrived 17 minutes past the scheduled hour, i.e. 2 minutes past the (new to me) 15 minutes tolerance. 1 - I explained the situation although I was given little to no attention at the front desk. 2 - I volunteered to stay until the end of the afternoon and would be the last patient seen. 3 - I asked to talk with the Doctor. 4 - No luck. I should mention that on the 2 previous visits to this office we waited more than 15 minutes to be seen. Conclusion: I truly understand the need to commit with the scheduled times but I felt zero courtesy or willingness to listen or help.

Love Dr Hughes. No nonsense, knowledgeable MD with a warm caring demeanor. Casey at the Front Desk is great. Super friendly and accommodating every time I call. Can't wait until the office moves to Rt 130. Highly recommend!
