Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell

I have had multiple visits, inpatient and outpatient, here over the last 5+ years. This includes hospital and outpatient doctor’s offices. I’ve always been met with exceptionally caring and kind staff. I’ve been in for almost everything under the sun; immune system, heart, gyno, urology, ER, Outpatient surgery, etc. As time continued, service kept getting better. There were definitely some bumps starting out 5 years ago, but I was new and experiencing a unique medical occurrence for my age. I’ve been in and out of various networks and providers within NJ most of my life, and the convenience of Capital Health Medical Center -Hopewell is definitely among my highest rated in terms of experience. I truly appreciate the caring staff at this facility. From security, to doctors, to radiology

emergency visit. Neglected, dismissed, unattended. My doctor was very dismissive and unprofessional. The nurse was more responsive at explaining everything to me. I did notice a lot of mental health ill patients. I felt like I was in a looney bin and not in a hospital... the nurses were being mistreated left & right by these mental patients. the staff seem overworked and unhappy. I arrived at 5:30 didn't get a little bed until 3 -4 hours later in the hall way. My Doc checked on me once. After she saw my frustration she discharged me... i did not leave until 4am!!!! This hospital has always been my first choice but wow my experience was awful. I did not get any conclusive information. One staff member told me one thing/ another staff member told me another. I was incredibly impressed with the exceptional care I received at Capital Health ER. From the moment I arrived, the wait time was remarkably short. The nurses were attentive and provided excellent service throughout my visit. Furthermore, the doctor's expertise and thoroughness in addressing my concerns were truly commendable. I highly recommend Capital Health ER for their outstanding medical attention.

Stephanie and Crystal were absolutely amazing during my visit to the emergency room at Capital Health Hospital in Hopewell, New Jersey. From the moment I arrived, they were compassionate, attentive, and truly made me feel safe and cared for. They explained everything clearly, checked on me frequently, and treated me with so much kindness and professionalism. Their dedication and empathy made a stressful situation much easier to handle. The worst ER visit I have ever experienced. Told them I was losing feeling in my legs and was nauseous. Made it to the trash can and collapsed and instead of helping me up they yelled that I can’t be there. I was blacking out and a nurse came and hit my head with her cart and said « why are you there? ». I told them I couldn’t feel my legs and their response was « but you made it to the trash can ». After 3 hours in the waiting room losing more feeling, I’m finally taken back and the Dr says to her coworker « I should’ve switched patients with you », laughing while I’m in the most pain of my life, and then she never showed back up.
